Sellers are a critical part of Amazon’s ecosystem to deliver on our vision of offering the Earth’s largest selection and lowest prices In our vision to build a global marketplace, we will enable Sellers to list, make their selection available to customers globally while optimizing their inventory placement across multiple countries.VAT Services on Amazon (VISA) enables Amazon Sellers to be VAT compliant in any country where they choose to sell and/or place their inventory by removing one of key barriers and friction points that Sellers face when deciding to go international i.e. VAT compliance. We do this by providing an online service for Amazon Sellers (on Seller Central) to VAT Register in 7 countries and to file their VAT Returns in these countries at the desired intervals.As the Program Manager in the VISA Product team - you will join a dynamic team which is at the forefront of this vision to build a global marketplace. Our products and programs are either in hyper-growth stage of their life cycle or are under V1 development. You will be responsible for identifying gaps and improving the processes that impact experience for different set of customers using amazon technology via VISA. Apart from internal stakeholders and Sellers, you will work with external vendors (tax providers) to drive process standardization for key areas that directly impact Seller experience and their compliance. The role involves delivery via coordination across multiple stakeholders across partner management, tech, product teams, and external tax providers to name a few.The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Work with product team, external tax providers, marketing, and tech leaders to create the right processes and materials that will help our customers scale with our technology.
  • Drive standardization of processes that directly impact customer experience.
  • Implement automated solutions where possible for reduced defects
  • Identify opportunities to invent and simplify on behalf of our customers, and work with the product managers to incorporate your ideas in the product roadmap.
