POSITION:Senior IT-Support




As an experienced IT-Support, reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be in charge of supporting the end users with technical IT problems related to software and hardware products, software programs or systems, in order to guarantee continuity within the organization.



Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Provide support through incident management system and telephone to users to ensure that a fast and user-friendly service can be offered.
    • Follow-up the service desk incidents and look for efficient solutions to solve incidents
    • Resolve current connectivity issues, access problems including password reset
    • Provide support for video conference, IP communication, Online meetings, e-mails
    • Replace/maintain hardware components
    • Escalate incidents to next level specialist if necessary


  • Ensure proper execution of administrative tasks related to the Windows environment, telephony and network infrastructure in order to solve problems more quickly without having to escalate to higher levels.
    • Install and/or replace defective components
    • Ensure proper cabling
    • Follow up hardware replacements and interventions by third parties
    • Keep local spare stock managed and documented
    • Assist with the installation, configuration, optimization and troubleshooting of IT backend components
    • Monitor and report performance and availability of the systems to the Service Delivery Managers


  • Map out and report continuously reoccurring problems to the IT team Lead and incident manager and offer support when searching for solutions to ensure that problems can be avoided.
    • Register and report details of the problem in the ticket system Service Now
    • Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure architect and other parties, when needed, to investigate the problem 
    • participate actively and positively in the actions to resolve the problems
    • Update the IT documentation when needed in a timely manner


  • Install/deploy/maintain software and hardware to ensure that internal customers can make optimal use of our standard set of applications and tools.
    • Install and configure workstations and related devices for new employees
    • Install and configure printers for different departments
    • Install and configure all types of phones in line with the Group policy in place
    • Update the IT documentation when needed in a timely manner 
    • Update the stock registration in a timely manner
    • Monitor the EOL timelines and report timely when components need to be replaced due to the end of support deadline 


  • Participate in the execution of IT projects, in order to contribute in achieving the project goals and to give necessary support to colleagues.
    • As a contributor you are involved in new IT related projects (SW and/or HW).
    • You provide feedback to the project team in a timely manner when/where needed


  • Provide IT training for new employees in English, as well as update training sessions for experienced users in order to increase the skills and knowledge of hardware and software of the end-users
    • Prepare the right training material
    • Organize the training for all new starters
    • Give further support on the presented topics
    • Give on-the-job training and provide the end-users with tips and best practices


  • Update and maintain the IT-documentation in English on SharePoint ensuring that the IT/architecture documentation is up to date at all times.
    • Any change or update on the site’s infrastructure when approved by the IT architect must be updated after execution.
    • Update and maintain the LAN documentation
    • Update and maintain the on-site Wan documentation
    • Update and maintain the Application landscape used within the sites/countries  


  • Update and maintain professional knowledge and technical skills to ensure that the professional knowledge is maximized and that it can be applied within the organization in the best possible manner.
    • Pro-actively seek out IT knowledge gaps with your n+1 and set out actions to obtain the missing knowledge


  • Support Group IT initiatives and projects
  • Perform any other duties as required



  • Bachelors’ or master’s degree in computer science or in a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience as IT-Support
  • Team player attitude and attention to details with strong analytical skills.
  • Self-starter in a small team, work independently and drive delivery focus.
  • Hands-on attitude is a must.
  • Fast learner, flexible and eager to learn new things.
  • Enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude.
  • Strong service attitude and solution oriented.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer hardware.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Windows environment, Office suites and Email.
  • ERP experience with Microsoft Dynamics will be considered as an asset.
  • Basic knowledge of networks.
  • Fluent in English. Any other languages will be considered as an asset.
