Main duties/responsibilities:

  • Environment Support: Manage and resolve issues in the different environments (e.g. Production, Test and Development) and evaluate priority, actions and impact based on situational requirements.
  • System Support: Provide on-going technical support for the current systems and applications used by the Bank
  • Support, Development and improvement of current implemented Middleware Services to ensure succesful implementation, integration and on-going use of the products.
  • Operations Support: Provide technical support for internal operations and departmental initiatives including production support, database administration, business analysis and development.
  • Contact for external Providers for the applications under his responsibility
  • Collaboration on IT Projects

 

 

Profile and requirements:

  • Proven experience and knowledge in the following areas:
    • Good knowledge of Java and the technologies used (J2EE, Struts, WebServices, Weblogic, IDE Eclipse, XML)
    • Good knowledge of Oracle databases (with PL/SQL and Apex)
    • Good knowledge of UNIX operating systems incl. scripting in bash, ksh, sh, perl
    • Basic Windows Knowledge (Scripting Powershell)
  • Experience and knowledge in the following areas would be an added value:
    • Knowledge of Kondor+ would be an advantage
    • Knowledge of SAP (ABAP knowledge would be an additional advantage)
    • Knowledge of Information Providers such as Reuters (Refinitiv) and Bloomberg
  • Experience of at least 5-7 years within the banking industry is mandatory (ideally in treasury / risk area)
  • Understanding of technical processes in general
  • Service-oriented and well organized team player
  • Willingness to go for new challenges
  • Ability and appetite to work in an international and intercultural environment
  • Fluent in English and German (French considered as an asset)
