Senior Full Stack Developer

About the job

We will be soon looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer passionate about technology, with strong experience in software development, who will work for EarthLab Luxembourg (https://www.earthlab.lu/).

In this role, you will contribute directly to the development of EarthLabs AI-powered products, with a focus on our flagship platform, Max-ICS. Youll be responsible for delivering core features and shaping the architecture of cloud-native applications that enable scalable satellite data processing and machine learning model deployment across domains such as defense, environment, and geospatial intelligence.

Our proprietary Max-ICS platform facilitates seamless Earth Observation (EO) data integration, advanced EO data processing, and continuous AI model training, bridging the gap between raw satellite data and actionable insights.

What Is Expected From You

• Design, develop, and maintain core features of the Max-ICS platform, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across all components.
• Build and optimize server-side applications and APIs.
• Manage and optimize large-scale EO data integration, storage and processing pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models and EO data into the platform, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team on cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or OVH), CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes-based solutions.
• Create clear and comprehensive documentation for code, (especially) APIs, and workflows.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements in development processes and tools.
• Foster innovation within the team by exploring and introducing new technologies, methods, and practices.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in full-stack software development, with a strong emphasis on object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in Angular, React and Python (C#, Java or other OOP languages would be an advantage).
• Significative experience in agile projects with modern web development.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database design and management (Elasticsearch knowledge is an asset).
• Experience in large-scale data integration and data processing projects is an asset.
• Experience with message queue technologies (RabbitMQ knowledge is an asset).
• Experience in cloud-native solutions, including containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OVH).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins knowledge is an asset).
• Knowledge of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other machine learning libraries is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English, and French is an asset.
